ha. might as well live up to my moniker and start off the year all bitter. although i have nothing to be bitter about. its not like i made a resolution to be more or less bitter. in fact i made no resolutions at all. why? because i don’t believe improving yourself should be limited to once a year. it should be an ongoing process.
pretty long winded start to this post huh? well get used to it. since i’ve been using twitter, its been taking up the more frequent posts leaving me with less to say here. so i think i’m going to try to write more lengthy and hopefully more insightful posts here in exchange for reduced frequency.
i have to say that after keeping this little blogging thing going for a long while, i have much respect for people that can keep up the dialogue. it requires a level of commitment that is commendable. even if all you’re writing about is what you had for breakfast and an indepth examination of the end result of that meal’s travels through your digestive system. (that was a round about metaphor for shit in case you missed it).
but back to writing and motivation. what motivates people to write? excess creativity? idle hands? dreams of financial windfalls? creation of a false persona? self-brand management? something else?
…
screw it. i had cheerios for breakfast…
